Southside: Sesimbra, Cabo Espichel and Almada

Welcome to the southside, some say the best side of Lisbon.

We will start by taking your breath away with the ocean views from Espichel Cape, surrounded with legends that come all the way back from the Muslim occupation of the Portuguese territory in the 10th century. From there, we will see the little fisherman’s village of Sesimbra, carved in the rocks of the coast and if you can spare 5mn, maybe dip our toes in the ocean while talking about the history of this magical city.

From there lets head on over to Almada, from where we can see Lisbon, but also check out the modern art that Lisbon is becoming more and more known for across the world. Lets have lunch in a modern market and check out all the graffiti in the area and then see Lisbon from the Christ the King, monument.
