Target

The Terms and Conditions presented here aim to define and govern the provision of services from SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) registered at the Commercial Registry Office R.N.P.C. (National Register of Legal Entities), with the unique registration and legal person number 510387209 and number 3670 (RNAVT) for the National Register of Travel and Tourism Agencies in Turismo de Portugal, the national entity that regulates tourism.

Organization

The organization of trips and experiences is the responsibility of SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.), In accordance with the Terms and Conditions defined here.
The travel or experience program in which the Client signs up will have particular conditions and terms, complementing the general ones here.
When contracting SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.), The Client acknowledges and accepts all the Terms and Conditions established herein.

Liability / Insurance

Under the terms of the current legislation, the trips organized by SHOW ME LISBON Agency (Showing Lisbon, Lda.), are covered by the Civil Liability Insurance - Policy No. 204261660 Allianz and by the Travel and Tourism Guarantee Fund of Turismo de Portugal. 

Under the terms of the legislation in force, the experiences of Tour Operator SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) are covered by the Civil Liability Insurance - Policy No. 0006062333 Tranquilidade Fidelidade and by the Travel and Tourism Guarantee Fund of Turismo de Portugal.

The presentation of adequate insurance for the travel program is mandatory on the part of the customer. If it does not correspond to the recommended SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.), just as its partners in the provision of services, may refuse registration or exempt themselves from any and all liability related to damages and additional costs.

Registration

Registration for a trip will only be validated after full payment or a 30% deposit (30% of which is non-refundable in case of withdrawal) on the total value of the service and due completion of the form available on the website. The customer is obliged to settle the balance of the total cost of the trip, including additional services that he requests, within 60 days of the departure date. If the registration takes place 60 days or less from the start date of the program, the total price must be paid at the time of registration, subject to confirmation of reservations / associated services. SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) reserves the right to cancel any registration whose payment has not been made under the explicit conditions previously mentioned.

The minimum registration age is 18 years old. Until the age of 16, it will only be accepted with the presence of one of the parents, according to the legislation in force.

The Client must be aware that unforeseen events may arise, related to socio-cultural, health and climatic conditions. They should be aware of the physical demand of the trip and the possible difficulty of resorting to medical assistance.

The enrollment in an experience will only be validated after full payment or a 30% deposit (30% of which is only refundable in case of withdrawal up to 48 hours before the experience) on the total value of the service. The client undertakes to settle the balance of the total cost per day of the experience. SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) reserves the right to cancel any registration whose payment has not been made under the explicit conditions previously mentioned.

The minimum registration age is 18 years old. Until the age of 16, it will only be accepted with the presence of one of the parents, according to the legislation in force.

Changing Dates

The Client enrolled in a trip cannot change his enrollment for another trip or for the same trip departing on a different date without the consent of SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.). If it is possible to make the change, it may be subject to expenses and charges defined in the topic related to Withdrawals.

Termination of Registration

In the case of traveling arrangements, the client can give up his registration, making himself replaced by another person who fulfills all the conditions required for the trip, provided he informs SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) up until 15 days ahead of the trip. And provided that such assignment is possible under the applicable air transport regulations. If the person you are replacing is of a different sex, you may interfere with the accommodation, subject to possible accommodation limitations if it is not a single room.

The assignment of registration is jointly and severally liable for the transferor and assignee for the payment of the price of the trip and for the additional charges it may originate.

In the case of experiences, the client can give up his registration, making himself replaced by another person who fulfills all the conditions required for the experience, provided he informs SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) 1 day prior to the experience.

Changes

Whenever there are other reasons that justify it, the organizing agency may change the order of the journeys, modify the departure times or replace any of the planned hotels with others of a similar category and location, and must inform the customer of such change, as soon as they are aware of the changes.

Price changes

With regards to travel arrangements, the prices shown in the schedule are based on the costs of services and exchange rates in effect at the date of the schedule, so they may be subject to changes resulting from changes in the cost of transport or fuel, entitlements, taxes, fees and currency fluctuations.

Whenever there is a change in the price of the trip, the Client will be immediately informed and invited to, within the time limit set, accept the necessary increase or cancel his registration under the same terms and conditions presented in the 'Impossibility of compliance' .

VAT - Prices shown are exempt from VAT - M05 - Article 14 of CIVA.

Program Cancellations by the Agency

When the trip is dependent on a minimum number of participants, the Agency reserves the right to cancel the organized trip at any time if the number of registered participants is less than the minimum. If this happens, the customer will be informed in writing of the cancellation within 15 (fifteen) days.

Impossibility of compliance

If, due to facts not attributable to the Agency, the Agency is unable to fulfill any essential service included in the travel program, the customer has the right to withdraw from the trip, being immediately refunded of all amounts paid or, alternatively, accepting an amendment and eventual price variation. If the referred facts not attributable to the Agency determine the cancellation of the trip, the Client may also choose to participate in another organized trip of equivalent price, which has vacancies available. If the proposed replacement package is of a lower price, the customer will be refunded the respective difference.

Withdrawals

If the Client withdraws the trip up to 60 days before the start date of the travel program, he / she will lose 30% (non-refundable) of the program value. If this withdrawal occurs within 60 days or less of the program start date, you will lose the total value of the travel program. The Client will also lose the value of additional services that have been ordered by him and that have non-recoverable charges.

Travel insurance, after being taken out, has no refund. Visas, after applications to the Embassies or other entities, do not have any refund.

Where applicable, the customer will be reimbursed for the difference between the amount paid and the amounts mentioned above.

Refunds

Once the trip has started, no refund is due for services not used by the Client. Failure to provide services foreseen in the travel program for reasons not attributable to the Agency and if replacement by other equivalents is not possible, entitles the Customer to the right to be reimbursed for the difference between the price of the services provided and the ones actually provided.

Claims

Complaints can only be considered if they are submitted in writing within a period not exceeding 20 days after the end of the provision of services. They can only be accepted as long as they have been reported to the service providers (hotels, guides, local agents, etc.) during the course of the trip or stay, requiring the respective documents proving the occurrence.

In the event of a claim for non-performance of the contracted services, the client may activate the Travel and Tourism Guarantee Fund provided for under the terms of DL 61/2011 of 06 May in its current wording, and for that purpose he must submit the respective claim:

 - Together with Turismo de Portugal I.P in www.turismodeportugal.pt within 30 days after: (i) the end of the trip; (ii) the cancellation of the trip attributable to the agency; (iii) the date of knowledge of the impossibility of its realization due to a fact attributable to the agency; (iv) the closure of the establishment.

- With any of the entities on the website of the General Directorate of Consumers in http://www.consumidor.pt

Documentation

The client must have in good order his personal or family documentation, (identity card, military documentation, authorization for minors, visas, vaccination certificate and others possibly required). The agency declines any responsibility for refusing to grant visas or not allowing the client to enter a foreign country; the cost of the situation being incurred by the client.

Traveling in the European Union:

- Customers (regardless of age) who move within the European Union must have the respective civil identification document (passport; ID, Citizen Card);

- To obtain medical assistance, they must have the respective European Health Insurance Card;

Travel outside the European Union:

- Customers (regardless of age) who are traveling must have the respective civil identification document (passport) as well as a visa, if necessary (obtain this information from the agency at the time of booking);

Nationals of non-EU countries should consult specific information regarding the necessary documentation to travel with the embassies / consulates of the countries of origin.

Use of Customer Information

The customer gives express consent that all information, including personal data, provided in relation to his trip can be transmitted to government authorities for the purposes of border control and security in air or other travel.

Also allows for the information to be provided to local partners of SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) to carry out the travel program (including data related to health, among others).

Occasionally SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) takes photos / videos during trips to use as promotional material. SHOW ME LISBON always asks before, but then assumes the consent of the participants, unless they transmit that do not allow it

Meeting point and start of trips

The meeting point, on each trip, with the trip leader and the rest of the participants is indicated in each trip program. The specific place will be communicated to the Client in a timely manner before the trip begins.

Air travel or other means of transport that take the Customer to the beginning of the journey are purchased by the Customer by other means. In any case, it is the Client's responsibility to be at the meeting point at the time indicated for the start of the trip, except for specific programs that SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) offers the possibility to purchase the flight with a partner through this website.

Meeting point and start of experiences

The meeting point, in each experience, with the guide and with the other participants is indicated in each program. The specific place will be communicated to the Client in a timely manner before the start of the experiment.

It is the Client's responsibility to be at the meeting point at the time indicated for the start of the experience, except for specific programs that SHOW ME LISBON (Showing Lisbon, Lda.) offers the possibility of having a pick-up for the beginning of the experience.

Schedules for airline tickets and other means of transport

The departure and arrival times will be according to the schedules of the carriers, at the date of issuing the respective travel information, and indicated in the local time of the respective country, so they can be changed. The delays arising from technical or other issues related to the means of transport and to the transport companies are highlighted. The Client must always consult the schedule for each flight printed on his ticket and confirm his return with the airline 72 hours in advance.

Baggage

The Agency is not responsible, under any circumstances, for the luggage and other assets that the Client carries with him, regardless of the location or means of transport used. The Client is recommended to take out luggage insurance and its presence in the loading and unloading operations. In the event of subtraction, deterioration or destruction of baggage, the Customer must immediately complain, in writing, to the service provider and / or entity in whose custody they were deposited, keeping a copy of the complaint. The Agency's liability can only be acted upon the presentation of proof of complaint provided for in the previous paragraph.

Note

These Terms and Conditions are complemented by the travel program in which the Client signs up, which constitutes the particular conditions for participation in the trip. They can also be complemented by any other specific conditions sent to the Client upon registration or any other ones as long as duly agreed by the parties.
