Traditional pastry workshop
We would like you to live the experience of a true Lisbon' neighboorhood as a local and take some of the unique concepts of the traditional Portuguese Pastry and the way Portuguese enjoy it.
So first, you will meet up with Rita that will take you to her favorite traditional spots in her neighbourhood (Campo de Ourique), where she lives and knows all the best pastries around. Then you will meet up with Carol and she will give you unique insights on how to cook traditional Portuguese Pastry, it's smells and flavours.
She is a teacher in one of the best Culinary Schools of Portugal, so she knows what she is doing. With some desert wine in the mix, let's now cook and eat!
We will learn how to bake two traditional sweets:
- the famous Portuguese custard tart;
- the traditional portuguese spounge cake with egg yolks cream.
My mouth starts watering just thinking about it...
